ReCap 2013: #LAAT Join the Launch of REVOLT with a music library for the network

2013 has been an incredible year for us musically!

we've been blessed to work on some awesome artists

and work on music for a long list of networks and shows

from VH1, to BET, Centric to WE..

one of the coolest moments for us in 2013
was the launch of Diddy's REVOLT network!!
we are of course fans of Diddy and the legacy he's created and c'mon.....a network??
woah!!
proof that you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to!!

AKAI MPC RENAISSANCE UNVEILS TONIGHT!!

Tonight AKAI unveils the next generation of their hugely successful MPC music production center line.

MPC RENAISSANCE

& LADY AND A TRAMP are so excited to have been part of helping develop
this new addition to the line

"MPC PRO is an amazing piece of equipment that will re-define where the bar sits for drum machines and music production centers..this new line is going to lure back all the MPC users that have moved over to other products like native instruments Maschine, Arturia's Spark, FXpansions Geist and even Native Instruments Battery.. we had amazing time meeting with the guys at Akai & they really know how to break the mold.. and get out of the the kind of thinking that producers & DJ's have gotten out of years ago as digital production styles took center stage."

In less than 1 week the next in the new line,
Mpc Studio will be introduced

and in less than 2 weeks the Mpc FLY is gonna be unveiled...
what? MPC for Ipad?? yep!!!

IN THE STUDIO - NAUGHTY BY NATURE!!

So we are back in the studio working on Tracks and hooks for Naughty By Nature
hanging out and vibing on some ideas was Harlem's own F-Mos ,
Queens own Sonny Black, Precise & songwriter Davila

As usual we had a lot of fun and a lot of great ideas and songs came out of the collaboration

THE SMT SESSIONS early 2008

One of our favorite spots to work at is
SMT studios (Sine Media Tools) in NYC owned by our good friends Donna & Brian
Everyone from Talib Kweli, to Saigon to Da Beatminerz keep this place booked out...
So we were happy to get back over there & book some time to work
& hang out with two of our favorite people in the world

this week we had another good friend of ours,
singer/songwriter Polo Grounds/J records recording Artist
Miss Candace Jones came by to hang out..of course we ended up putting her to work

We are working on Precise's EP (still untitled) that we will be releasing this summer
